The scope of pathologies occurring in the breast can be daunting, given overlapping histologic features of benign and malignant lesions. 

  

This seminar will cover the important clinical and histopathologic features of some of the more common and diagnostically challenging lesions of the breast. Key diagnostic criteria and differential diagnoses of these lesions will be discussed, as well as any relevant ancillary testing, including immunohistochemistry, molecular analysis and predictive biomarkers that impact diagnosis and patient management. Case presentations will be used as a springboard for discussion and to share our pragmatic approach to diagnosis.
